            Denise McField was appointed to Director of Student Services on July 1, 2021. Her education career spans nearly 30 years with an emphasis on helping the most vulnerable population of students.  She proudly served eight years in the private sector of the Department of Children and Family Services to reunify children and families. The following decade was split between West/Harvey Dixmoor School District 147 in Harvey and Brookwood School District 167 in Glenwood as a dedicated school Social Worker.

             Ms. McField also spent two years as a trusted Principal Consultant in the Special Education Department for the Illinois State Board of Education.

             Prior to her appointment here at District 155, Ms. McField devoted eight years as a Coordinator of Student Support Services for the Evergreen Park Elementary School District 124. Six of those years she simultaneously performed the duties of Summer School Principal for the entire district.  

             Ms. McField is passionately committed to the power and promise of public education as a nexus of community advancement, economic growth through student voice, parent engagement, and a diverse portfolio of innovative school designs led by public educators. She holds a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Governor State University, a Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago- Jane Adams College of Social Work, and a Bachelor of Social Work from Rust College. She is currently pursuing an Educational Doctorate Degree in Leadership at Concordia University.
